Ingredients

  • Ground beef
  • Onion, diced
  • Garlic, minced
  • Diced tomatoes
  • Tomato paste
  • Egg noodles
  • Sour cream
  • Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • Green onions (optional, for garnish)
  • Salt & pepper
  • Paprika
  • Olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook egg noodles according to package directions; drain and set aside.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet and cook diced onions and garlic until softened. Add ground beef and cook until browned; drain excess fat.
  4. Stir in diced tomatoes, tomato paste, paprika, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5-7 minutes.
  5. In a greased baking dish, layer half of the cooked noodles, followed by half of the beef mixture. Spread sour cream over the top and repeat layers.
  6. Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top and bake for 20-25 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Garnish with green onions and serve hot.
