    • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
    • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
    • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • For the Caramel Sauce:
    • 1 cup granulated sugar
    • 1/4 cup water
    • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, cubed
    • 1/2 cup heavy cream
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • Pinch of sea salt

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C).
  • Mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter; press into the springform pan to form the crust.
  • Beat cream cheese, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  • Add eggs one at a time, followed by vanilla, sour cream, and heavy cream.
  • Pour the cheesecake mixture over the crust and bake for 55-65 minutes until set.
  • For the apple topping, cook sliced apples with sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, butter, and lemon juice until softened.
  • For the caramel sauce, heat sugar and water in a saucepan until amber-colored. Stir in butter, then cream, vanilla, and salt.
