  • 1 lb ground pork (or chicken/turkey)
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, minced
  • 4 cups coleslaw mix (or shredded cabbage)
  • 1 medium carrot, julienned
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce (or coconut aminos)
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  • Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add ground pork and cook until browned, breaking it up as it cooks.
  • Stir in onion, garlic, and ginger; sauté until fragrant.
  • Add coleslaw mix, carrots, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and red pepper flakes. Stir well.
  • Cook for 5-7 minutes, until cabbage is tender but slightly crisp.
  • Remove from heat, garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!
