Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 tbsp sriracha sauce
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar (or apple cider vinegar)
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Green onions and sesame seeds for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the chicken for 5-6 minutes on each side until browned and fully cooked. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Stir in honey, sriracha, soy sauce, and rice vinegar. Bring to a simmer and cook for 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  • Return the chicken to the skillet and coat it with the sauce. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  • Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds if desired. Serve hot.

Notes

  • Adjust the level of heat by adding more or less sriracha to taste.
  • Serve over rice, noodles, or alongside steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
