This Million Dollar Lasagna is a decadent, cheesy, and flavor-packed dish with layers of pasta, creamy ricotta, seasoned meat sauce, and gooey mozzarella. Perfect for family dinners or special occasions!

Ingredients

  • 12 lasagna noodles, cooked
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb Italian sausage
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 (24 oz) jar marinara sauce
  • 1 (15 oz) container ricotta cheese
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp salt

 

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • In a skillet, cook ground beef, sausage, onion, and garlic until browned. Drain excess grease.
  • Stir in marinara sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.
  • In a bowl, mix ricotta, cream cheese, sour cream, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  • Layer the lasagna:
    • Spread a thin layer of meat sauce on the bottom.
    • Add 4 lasagna noodles.
    • Spread half of the cheese mixture.
    • Add 1/3 of the mozzarella cheese.
    • Repeat layers, ending with meat sauce and remaining mozzarella & Parmesan.
  • Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 15 minutes until golden and bubbly.

 

  • Let rest for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Use oven-ready lasagna noodles for convenience.
  • Letting it rest before cutting helps it hold its shape.

 

  • Can be made ahead and frozen for easy meals.
