This Million Dollar Ravioli Casserole combines cheese-filled or meat ravioli with a creamy cheese mixture, ground beef, marinara sauce, and plenty of mozzarella for a decadent, comforting meal. It’s a baked pasta dish that layers flavor and texture, making it a family favorite for easy dinners or gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 bag (24 oz) frozen cheese or meat ravioli
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: Fresh parsley, crushed red pepper flakes, extra Parmesan

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Cook ravioli according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat. Add marinara sauce and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  • In a separate bowl, mix ricotta cheese, cream cheese, sour cream, and half of the Parmesan cheese until smooth.
  • In a 9x13-inch baking dish, layer half the cooked ravioli, followed by the cheese mixture, ground beef sauce, and half of the mozzarella.
  • Repeat the layers and finish with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden. Garnish with optional toppings before serving.

Notes

  • Fresh ravioli can be used for a quicker cook time.
  • Add a pinch of red pepper flakes for a bit of heat.
