    • 1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed
    • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
    • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
    • Pinch of salt
  • For the Salted Caramel Sauce:
    • 1 cup granulated sugar
    • 1/4 cup water
    • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, cubed
    • 1/2 cup heavy cream
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9x13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  • For the crust, mix melted butter, sugar, vanilla, and salt. Stir in flour until combined. Press the dough into the pan and bake for 15 minutes.
  • For the apple filling, toss apple slices with flour, sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Spread evenly over the pre-baked crust.
